Pretty good. I’d read Ian’s Dare story in a different series and loved it. This one was good but I just couldn’t buy the fact the baby was left on Austin’s porch with a note. It just wasn’t believable.

I liked this story but I thought it could have been longer. The ending felt rushed, as well as unbelievable if you know anything about the police. I would read the other books in this series if they were longer and/or cost less.

A terrific start to a new series by this fabulous author. Always one to give us swoon-worthy characters and a story to cause a few heart problems. Melting, aching, breaking and most of all heartfelt. Our hero, the sexy ex-footballer Austin and the wonderful Quinn are a dream couple. They started out hot, moved on because an office romance is taboo and then when he needed her she came through. A surprise baby will melt your heart as Austin struggles to be a dad and Quinn comes to his rescue. The old sparks between the two are fanned as they worked together for the baby. What a family they make! This is a fantastic office romance and surprise baby storyline with so many emotions and a few laughs. Worth the read! A different branch of the Dare family!

4.5 Stars This is book one in the Dare Nation series and it features Austin Prescott and Quinnlyn Stone. Austin came home one night to find a baby on his porch. Panicked, he called his very efficient, very sexy executive assistant for help. These two throw off some serious sparks whenever they’re together. Quinn is great with kids but doesn’t want any of her own. When all is said and done, what’s left for two people in love when one wants children and the other doesn’t? This is a fabulous series starter! The characters are well rounded and have steady growth throughout. All the Prescott siblings are Paul Dare’s biological children through sperm donation. They all know but still refer to him as Uncle Paul. I am definitely looking forward to the next book in this series!

Great Start to a Great Story

I read the synopsis and could NOT wait to read this book. Once I started I could not put this book down. Austin and Quinn’s story was captivating. It’s a bit of insta-love but set at a slow burn pace. It’s filled with all the delicious things one would want in a quick read. A great story with characters with off the chart chemistry. Austin is a former NFL star who owns a sports agency firm. He is looking for an Executive Assistant. In walks Quinnlynn aka Quinn. But although their attraction was instant, they decided to keep their relationship professional. Until a little someone appears in their lives. Austin comes home to find a baby on his door step. The only person he feels comfortable turning to for help is Quinn. With Austin out of his depth, he asks her to move in. This is where things heat up. Now in close quarters they not only learn that they make a great team for caring for a child but they also finally give into their attraction. I couldn’t get enough of them. This is the first book in the Dare Nation series. This book can be read as a stand-alone. I have not read all of Carly’s Dare series and was able to follow along and enjoy this story with no problem. She does a great job of giving a quick recap of the characters and their backgrounds. This a great start to what I know is a great series.

I received an advanced copy and voluntarily left a review. Dare To Resist is a spinoff series of Carly Phillips’ Dare series. Although it is a spinoff, this side of the family, these a full standalone book. This is the 1st book in the new series. Austin is a former football pro turned sports agent. Quinn is his sexy but super efficient assistant. Although there is some serious chemistry, Austin and Quinn have kept their relationship strictly professional. When Austin comes home to find a baby on his doorstep he calls Quinn for help. Quinn agrees to help Austin with baby Jenny while making it clear it is only temporary as she has decided she doesn't want children. Soon they begin to feel too much like a family and their chemistry is too much to resist. This book is written from a third-person dual POV so the only drawback is that I found myself having to keep track of whose side I was reading. Austin and Quinn manage to have plenty of sizzle while allowing their sweet side to shine through.

Big alpha ex-football player Austin holding a tiny infant girl paints such an awesome and sexy picture. I love how he steps up to the task of taking care of the unexpected surprise of little Jenny. I also appreciate how Austin isn't afraid to ask for help, especially from his executive assistant Quinn. Their chemistry is apparent and can't be ignored unfortunately, Quinn has a firm belief in what her life should look like and it doesn't include children. This spin-off Dare series has a very promising beginning and I already pre-ordered the next book.

Dare To Resist by Carly Phillips is the first book in her brand new Dare Nation series. Moving Dare adjacent to the Prescott family, biologically the children of Paul Dare who donated sperm when the Prescott dad learned he couldn't father children, and Paul was happy to be the"uncle" to the kids and live his life with his partner. We open with the story of Austin Prescott and Quinnlyn Stone. Austin is in desperate need of an executive assistant and she is in desperate need of a job. Austin has a couple of weeks to get her ready to roll before he goes under the knife to donate one of his kidneys to his uncle (bio dad) Paul and will then be out of work for six weeks. Upon meeting Quinn for the first time it's obvious she has what it takes to keep his company in order while he is out, never mind the desperate attraction they feel towards one another. He needs a competent assistant more than he needs to scratch that itch and she needs job, the security and the income more than having a fling with her boss. But fast forward a year, add a baby on Austin's doorstep, a plea for help and some desperate measures and things really start to heat up between these two. There is just something about this entire Dare family and all the off-shoots that are irresistible. The romance is sweet, the sex is steamy, the angst levels are manageable but evoking and the happily ever afters are well-won. Loved it! I cannot wait for more of this family, the frequent glimpses into previous characters current lives, and the chemistry that just sparkles every time Carly Phillips puts pen to page. Enjoy!

4.5 stars for this fun yet emotional, sweet yet spicy story. I really enjoyed it! Carly Phillips brings us back into the the Dare/Prescott family for a wonderful story to start out her new Dare Nation series. Lovable characters and an easy flowing story line draw you in from the beginning and keep you invested and hopeful throughout. When Austin hires Quinn to be his assistant he ends up needing to suppress things he starts to feel for her very early on and he is successful at that. But he never expected how things would change in the course of a year. When he finds Jenny, a tiny little bundle of joy he finds on his doorstep, Quinn steps up to help him side by side. Suddenly all the feelings Austin has held back for the last year surface and he can’t deny them anymore. Looking forward to more of these awesome characters and this new series!

Another winner!

Another winner from Ms Phillips. This was an easy read and, as always, well written. I liked that Austin and Quinn didn’t just jump into a personal relationship even though there was a lot of chemistry between them. It was understandable why Quinn was reluctant to have a relationship with Austin, especially adding a baby into the mix. The way that she had to take care of so many siblings and cousins would put off anyone to having children in the future. What she didn’t realize was that, as an adult, she would be the one making that decision not someone else. This was a great read to get your mind off of any depressing current events.

Welcome back, Dares!!!! This is a new nation of Dare’s, Carly Phillips incredible family from the earlier series. And I am so happy to have more Dare’s in the picture. This begins the stories of the Prescott’s, who are Dare’s from another Dad! (you’ll figure it out). First, we meet Austin. Urgently needing an executive assistant due to a medical crisis, he hires Quinn Stone. As much chemistry as they have at the initial meeting, he doesn’t date employees, so they will be friends only. Quinn has finally gotten a life for herself. She basically raised her siblings and cousins and managed to get an education. Now she wants to live the life she deserves. She won’t endanger it just because the new boss is hot. But one little blue-eyed sweetie is going to change everything for both of them. Loads of family information, lots of steam, and as always, another family I know I’m going to love. Thanks, Carly….

Could not resist

Loved this read, beginning of another great series and meeting some old friends. Some of my favorite books by Carly Phillips is the dare series and this is a off shoot of them. Nothing better than complicated family trees. Austin and Quinn are a great couple that you can’t help but root for and their chemistry is off the charts. What better than having a baby in the mix. I cannot wait for the next edition in this series an to keep up with this family and the dare family.

Quinn is great with kids but doesn’t want any of her own. When all is said and done, what’s left for two people in love when one wants children and the other doesn’t? This is a fabulous series starter! The characters are well rounded and have steady growth throughout. All the Prescott siblings are Paul Dare’s biological children through sperm donation. They all know but still refer to him as Uncle Paul. I am definitely looking forward to the next book in this series!

Great Start to a Great Story

I read the synopsis and could NOT wait to read this book. Once I started I could not put this book down. Austin and Quinn’s story was captivating. It’s a bit of insta-love but set at a slow burn pace. It’s filled with all the delicious things one would want in a quick read. A great story with characters with off the chart chemistry. Austin is a former NFL star who owns a sports agency firm. He is looking for an Executive Assistant. In walks Quinnlynn aka Quinn. But although their attraction was instant, they decided to keep their relationship professional. Until a little someone appears in their lives. Austin comes home to find a baby on his door step. The only person he feels comfortable turning to for help is Quinn. With Austin out of his depth, he asks her to move in. This is where things heat up. Now in close quarters they not only learn that they make a great team for caring for a child but they also finally give into their attraction. I couldn’t get enough of them. This is the first book in the Dare Nation series. This book can be read as a stand-alone. I have not read all of Carly’s Dare series and was able to follow along and enjoy this story with no problem. She does a great job of giving a quick recap of the characters and their backgrounds. This a great start to what I know is a great series.

I received an advanced copy and voluntarily left a review. Dare To Resist is a spinoff series of Carly Phillips’ Dare series. Although it is a spinoff, this side of the family, these a full standalone book. This is the 1st book in the new series. Austin is a former football pro turned sports agent. Quinn is his sexy but super efficient assistant. Although there is some serious chemistry, Austin and Quinn have kept their relationship strictly professional. When Austin comes home to find a baby on his doorstep he calls Quinn for help. Quinn agrees to help Austin with baby Jenny while making it clear it is only temporary as she has decided she doesn't want children. Soon they begin to feel too much like a family and their chemistry is too much to resist. This book is written from a third-person dual POV so the only drawback is that I found myself having to keep track of whose side I was reading. Austin and Quinn manage to have plenty of sizzle while allowing their sweet side to shine through.

Big alpha ex-football player Austin holding a tiny infant girl paints such an awesome and sexy picture. I love how he steps up to the task of taking care of the unexpected surprise of little Jenny. I also appreciate how Austin isn't afraid to ask for help, especially from his executive assistant Quinn. Their chemistry is apparent and can't be ignored unfortunately, Quinn has a firm belief in what her life should look like and it doesn't include children. This spin-off Dare series has a very promising beginning and I already pre-ordered the next book.

Dare To Resist by Carly Phillips is the first book in her brand new Dare Nation series. Moving Dare adjacent to the Prescott family, biologically the children of Paul Dare who donated sperm when the Prescott dad learned he couldn't father children, and Paul was happy to be the"uncle" to the kids and live his life with his partner. We open with the story of Austin Prescott and Quinnlyn Stone. Austin is in desperate need of an executive assistant and she is in desperate need of a job. Austin has a couple of weeks to get her ready to roll before he goes under the knife to donate one of his kidneys to his uncle (bio dad) Paul and will then be out of work for six weeks. Upon meeting Quinn for the first time it's obvious she has what it takes to keep his company in order while he is out, never mind the desperate attraction they feel towards one another. He needs a competent assistant more than he needs to scratch that itch and she needs job, the security and the income more than having a fling with her boss. But fast forward a year, add a baby on Austin's doorstep, a plea for help and some desperate measures and things really start to heat up between these two. There is just something about this entire Dare family and all the off-shoots that are irresistible. The romance is sweet, the sex is steamy, the angst levels are manageable but evoking and the happily ever afters are well-won. Loved it! I cannot wait for more of this family, the frequent glimpses into previous characters current lives, and the chemistry that just sparkles every time Carly Phillips puts pen to page. Enjoy!

4.5 stars for this fun yet emotional, sweet yet spicy story. I really enjoyed it! Carly Phillips brings us back into the the Dare/Prescott family for a wonderful story to start out her new Dare Nation series. Lovable characters and an easy flowing story line draw you in from the beginning and keep you invested and hopeful throughout. When Austin hires Quinn to be his assistant he ends up needing to suppress things he starts to feel for her very early on and he is successful at that. But he never expected how things would change in the course of a year. When he finds Jenny, a tiny little bundle of joy he finds on his doorstep, Quinn steps up to help him side by side. Suddenly all the feelings Austin has held back for the last year surface and he can’t deny them anymore. Looking forward to more of these awesome characters and this new series!

Another winner!

Another winner from Ms Phillips. This was an easy read and, as always, well written. I liked that Austin and Quinn didn’t just jump into a personal relationship even though there was a lot of chemistry between them. It was understandable why Quinn was reluctant to have a relationship with Austin, especially adding a baby into the mix. The way that she had to take care of so many siblings and cousins would put off anyone to having children in the future. What she didn’t realize was that, as an adult, she would be the one making that decision not someone else. This was a great read to get your mind off of any depressing current events.

This begins the stories of the Prescott’s, who are Dare’s from another Dad! (you’ll figure it out). First, we meet Austin. Urgently needing an executive assistant due to a medical crisis, he hires Quinn Stone. As much chemistry as they have at the initial meeting, he doesn’t date employees, so they will be friends only. Quinn has finally gotten a life for herself. She basically raised her siblings and cousins and managed to get an education. Now she wants to live the life she deserves. She won’t endanger it just because the new boss is hot. But one little blue-eyed sweetie is going to change everything for both of them. Could not resist

Loved this read, beginning of another great series and meeting some old friends. Some of my favorite books by Carly Phillips is the dare series and this is a off shoot of them. Nothing better than complicated family trees. Austin and Quinn are a great couple that you can’t help but root for and their chemistry is off the charts. What better than having a baby in the mix. I cannot wait for the next edition in this series an to keep up with this family and the dare family.

Pretty good. I’d read Ian’s Dare story in a different series and loved it. This one was good but I just couldn’t buy the fact the baby was left on Austin’s porch with a note. It just wasn’t believable.

I liked this story but I thought it could have been longer. The ending felt rushed, as well as unbelievable if you know anything about the police. I would read the other books in this series if they were longer and/or cost less.

A terrific start to a new series by this fabulous author. Always one to give us swoon-worthy characters and a story to cause a few heart problems. Melting, aching, breaking and most of all heartfelt. Our hero, the sexy ex-footballer Austin and the wonderful Quinn are a dream couple. They started out hot, moved on because an office romance is taboo and then when he needed her she came through. A surprise baby will melt your heart as Austin struggles to be a dad and Quinn comes to his rescue. The old sparks between the two are fanned as they worked together for the baby. What a family they make! This is a fantastic office romance and surprise baby storyline with so many emotions and a few laughs. Worth the read! I received an advanced copy and voluntarily left a review. Dare To Resist is a spinoff series of Carly Phillips’ Dare series. Although it is a spinoff, this side of the family, these a full standalone book. This is the 1st book in the new series. Austin is a former football pro turned sports agent. Quinn is his sexy but super efficient assistant. Although there is some serious chemistry, Austin and Quinn have kept their relationship strictly professional. When Austin comes home to find a baby on his doorstep he calls Quinn for help. Quinn agrees to help Austin with baby Jenny while making it clear it is only temporary as she has decided she doesn't want children. Soon they begin to feel too much like a family and their chemistry is too much to resist. This book is written from a third-person dual POV so the only drawback is that I found myself having to keep track of whose side I was reading. Austin and Quinn manage to have plenty of sizzle while allowing their sweet side to shine through.

Big alpha ex-football player Austin holding a tiny infant girl paints such an awesome and sexy picture. I love how he steps up to the task of taking care of the unexpected surprise of little Jenny. I also appreciate how Austin isn't afraid to ask for help, especially from his executive assistant Quinn. Their chemistry is apparent and can't be ignored unfortunately, Quinn has a firm belief in what her life should look like and it doesn't include children. This spin-off Dare series has a very promising beginning and I already pre-ordered the next book.

Dare To Resist by Carly Phillips is the first book in her brand new Dare Nation series. Moving Dare adjacent to the Prescott family, biologically the children of Paul Dare who donated sperm when the Prescott dad learned he couldn't father children, and Paul was happy to be the"uncle" to the kids and live his life with his partner. We open with the story of Austin Prescott and Quinnlyn Stone. Austin is in desperate need of an executive assistant and she is in desperate need of a job. Austin has a couple of weeks to get her ready to roll before he goes under the knife to donate one of his kidneys to his uncle (bio dad) Paul and will then be out of work for six weeks. Upon meeting Quinn for the first time it's obvious she has what it takes to keep his company in order while he is out, never mind the desperate attraction they feel towards one another. He needs a competent assistant more than he needs to scratch that itch and she needs job, the security and the income more than having a fling with her boss. But fast forward a year, add a baby on Austin's doorstep, a plea for help and some desperate measures and things really start to heat up between these two. There is just something about this entire Dare family and all the off-shoots that are irresistible. The romance is sweet, the sex is steamy, the angst levels are manageable but evoking and the happily ever afters are well-won. Loved it! I cannot wait for more of this family, the frequent glimpses into previous characters current lives, and the chemistry that just sparkles every time Carly Phillips puts pen to page. Enjoy!

4.5 stars for this fun yet emotional, sweet yet spicy story. I really enjoyed it! Carly Phillips brings us back into the the Dare/Prescott family for a wonderful story to start out her new Dare Nation series. Lovable characters and an easy flowing story line draw you in from the beginning and keep you invested and hopeful throughout. When Austin hires Quinn to be his assistant he ends up needing to suppress things he starts to feel for her very early on and he is successful at that. But he never expected how things would change in the course of a year. When he finds Jenny, a tiny little bundle of joy he finds on his doorstep, Quinn steps up to help him side by side. Suddenly all the feelings Austin has held back for the last year surface and he can’t deny them anymore. Looking forward to more of these awesome characters and this new series!

Another winner!

Another winner from Ms Phillips. This was an easy read and, as always, well written. I liked that Austin and Quinn didn’t just jump into a personal relationship even though there was a lot of chemistry between them. It was understandable why Quinn was reluctant to have a relationship with Austin, especially adding a baby into the mix. The way that she had to take care of so many siblings and cousins would put off anyone to having children in the future. What she didn’t realize was that, as an adult, she would be the one making that decision not someone else. This was a great read to get your mind off of any depressing current events.

This begins the stories of the Prescott’s, who are Dare’s from another Dad! (you’ll figure it out). First, we meet Austin. Urgently needing an executive assistant due to a medical crisis, he hires Quinn Stone. As much chemistry as they have at the initial meeting, he doesn’t date employees, so they will be friends only. Quinn has finally gotten a life for herself. She basically raised her siblings and cousins and managed to get an education. Now she wants to live the life she deserves. Could not resist

Loved this read, beginning of another great series and meeting some old friends. Some of my favorite books by Carly Phillips is the dare series and this is a off shoot of them. Nothing better than complicated family trees. Austin and Quinn are a great couple that you can’t help but root for and their chemistry is off the charts. What better than having a baby in the mix. I cannot wait for the next edition in this series an to keep up with this family and the dare family.

Pretty good. I’d read Ian’s Dare story in a different series and loved it. This one was good but I just couldn’t buy the fact the baby was left on Austin’s porch with a note. It just wasn’t believable.

I liked this story but I thought it could have been longer. The ending felt rushed, as well as unbelievable if you know anything about the police. I would read the other books in this series if they were longer and/or cost less.

A terrific start to a new series by this fabulous author. Always one to give us swoon-worthy characters and a story to cause a few heart problems. Melting, aching, breaking and most of all heartfelt. Our hero, the sexy ex-footballer Austin and the wonderful Quinn are a dream couple. They started out hot, moved on because an office romance is taboo and then when he needed her she came through. A surprise baby will melt your heart as Austin struggles to be a dad and Quinn comes to his rescue. The old sparks between the two are fanned as they worked together for the baby. What a family they make! This is a fantastic office romance and surprise baby storyline with so many emotions and a few laughs. Worth the read! 4.5 Stars This is book one in the Dare Nation series and it features Austin Prescott and Quinnlyn Stone. Austin came home one night to find a baby on his porch. Panicked, he called his very efficient, very sexy executive assistant for help. These two throw off some serious sparks whenever they’re together. Quinn is great with kids but doesn’t want any of her own. When all is said and done, what’s left for two people in love when one wants children and the other doesn’t? This is a fabulous series starter! The characters are well rounded and have steady growth throughout. All the Prescott siblings are Paul Dare’s biological children through sperm donation. They all know but still refer to him as Uncle Paul. I am definitely looking forward to the next book in this series!

Great Start to a Great Story

I read the synopsis and could NOT wait to read this book. Once I started I could not put this book down. Austin and Quinn’s story was captivating. It’s a bit of insta-love but set at a slow burn pace. It’s filled with all the delicious things one would want in a quick read. A great story with characters with off the chart chemistry. Austin is a former NFL star who owns a sports agency firm. He is looking for an Executive Assistant. In walks Quinnlynn aka Quinn. But although their attraction was instant, they decided to keep their relationship professional. Until a little someone appears in their lives. Austin comes home to find a baby on his door step. The only person he feels comfortable turning to for help is Quinn. With Austin out of his depth, he asks her to move in. This is where things heat up. Now in close quarters they not only learn that they make a great team for caring for a child but they also finally give into their attraction. I couldn’t get enough of them. This is the first book in the Dare Nation series. This book can be read as a stand-alone. I have not read all of Carly’s Dare series and was able to follow along and enjoy this story with no problem. She does a great job of giving a quick recap of the characters and their backgrounds. This a great start to what I know is a great series.

The romance is sweet, the sex is steamy, the angst levels are manageable but evoking and the happily ever afters are well-won. Loved it! I cannot wait for more of this family, the frequent glimpses into previous characters current lives, and the chemistry that just sparkles every time Carly Phillips puts pen to page. Enjoy!

Carly Phillips brings us back into the the Dare/Prescott family for a wonderful story to start out her new Dare Nation series. Lovable characters and an easy flowing story line draw you in from the beginning and keep you invested and hopeful throughout. When Austin hires Quinn to be his assistant he ends up needing to suppress things he starts to feel for her very early on and he is successful at that. But he never expected how things would change in the course of a year. When he finds Jenny, a tiny little bundle of joy he finds on his doorstep, Quinn steps up to help him side by side. Suddenly all the feelings Austin has held back for the last year surface and he can’t deny them anymore. Looking forward to more of these awesome characters and this new series!

Another winner!

Another winner from Ms Phillips. This was an easy read and, as always, well written. I liked that Austin and Quinn didn’t just jump into a personal relationship even though there was a lot of chemistry between them. It was understandable why Quinn was reluctant to have a relationship with Austin, especially adding a baby into the mix. The way that she had to take care of so many siblings and cousins would put off anyone to having children in the future. What she didn’t realize was that, as an adult, she would be the one making that decision not someone else. This was a great read to get your mind off of any depressing current events.

Could not resist

Loved this read, beginning of another great series and meeting some old friends. Some of my favorite books by Carly Phillips is the dare series and this is a off shoot of them. Nothing better than complicated family trees. Austin and Quinn are a great couple that you can’t help but root for and their chemistry is off the charts. What better than having a baby in the mix. I cannot wait for the next edition in this series an to keep up with this family and the dare family.

Pretty good. I’d read Ian’s Dare story in a different series and loved it. This one was good but I just couldn’t buy the fact the baby was left on Austin’s porch with a note. It just wasn’t believable.

I liked this story but I thought it could have been longer. The ending felt rushed, as well as unbelievable if you know anything about the police. I would read the other books in this series if they were longer and/or cost less.

A terrific start to a new series by this fabulous author. Always one to give us swoon-worthy characters and a story to cause a few heart problems. Melting, aching, breaking and most of all heartfelt. Our hero, the sexy ex-footballer Austin and the wonderful Quinn are a dream couple. They started out hot, moved on because an office romance is taboo and then when he needed her she came through. A surprise baby will melt your heart as Austin struggles to be a dad and Quinn comes to his rescue. The old sparks between the two are fanned as they worked together for the baby. What a family they make! This is a fantastic office romance and surprise baby storyline with so many emotions and a few laughs. Worth the read! 4.5 Stars This is book one in the Dare Nation series and it features Austin Prescott and Quinnlyn Stone. Austin came home one night to find a baby on his porch. Panicked, he called his very efficient, very sexy executive assistant for help. These two throw off some serious sparks whenever they’re together. Quinn is great with kids but doesn’t want any of her own. When all is said and done, what’s left for two people in love when one wants children and the other doesn’t? This is a fabulous series starter! The characters are well rounded and have steady growth throughout. All the Prescott siblings are Paul Dare’s biological children through sperm donation. They all know but still refer to him as Uncle Paul. I am definitely looking forward to the next book in this series!

I read the synopsis and could NOT wait to read this book. Once I started I could not put this book down. Austin and Quinn’s story was captivating. It’s a bit of insta-love but set at a slow burn pace. It’s filled with all the delicious things one would want in a quick read. A great story with characters with off the chart chemistry. Austin is a former NFL star who owns a sports agency firm. He is looking for an Executive Assistant. In walks Quinnlynn aka Quinn. But although their attraction was instant, they decided to keep their relationship professional. Until a little someone appears in their lives. Austin comes home to find a baby on his door step. The only person he feels comfortable turning to for help is Quinn. With Austin out of his depth, he asks her to move in. This is where things heat up. Now in close quarters they not only learn that they make a great team for caring for a child but they also finally give into their attraction. I couldn’t get enough of them. This is the first book in the Dare Nation series. This book can be read as a stand-alone. I have not read all of Carly’s Dare series and was able to follow along and enjoy this story with no problem. She does a great job of giving a quick recap of the characters and their backgrounds. This a great start to what I know is a great series.

Although it is a spinoff, this side of the family, these a full standalone book. This is the 1st book in the new series. Austin is a former football pro turned sports agent. Quinn is his sexy but super efficient assistant. Although there is some serious chemistry, Austin and Quinn have kept their relationship strictly professional. When Austin comes home to find a baby on his doorstep he calls Quinn for help. Quinn agrees to help Austin with baby Jenny while making it clear it is only temporary as she has decided she doesn't want children. Soon they begin to feel too much like a family and their chemistry is too much to resist. This book is written from a third-person dual POV so the only drawback is that I found myself having to keep track of whose side I was reading. Austin and Quinn manage to have plenty of sizzle while allowing their sweet side to shine through.

Big alpha ex-football player Austin holding a tiny infant girl paints such an awesome and sexy picture. I love how he steps up to the task of taking care of the unexpected surprise of little Jenny. I also appreciate how Austin isn't afraid to ask for help, especially from his executive assistant Quinn. Their chemistry is apparent and can't be ignored unfortunately, Quinn has a firm belief in what her life should look like and it doesn't include children. This spin-off Dare series has a very promising beginning and I already pre-ordered the next book.

Loved this read, beginning of another great series and meeting some old friends. Some of my favorite books by Carly Phillips is the dare series and this is a off shoot of them. Nothing better than complicated family trees. Austin and Quinn are a great couple that you can’t help but root for and their chemistry is off the charts. What better than having a baby in the mix. I cannot wait for the next edition in this series an to keep up with this family and the dare family.

Pretty good. I’d read Ian’s Dare story in a different series and loved it. This one was good but I just couldn’t buy the fact the baby was left on Austin’s porch with a note. It just wasn’t believable.

I liked this story but I thought it could have been longer. The ending felt rushed, as well as unbelievable if you know anything about the police. I would read the other books in this series if they were longer and/or cost less.

A terrific start to a new series by this fabulous author. Always one to give us swoon-worthy characters and a story to cause a few heart problems. Melting, aching, breaking and most of all heartfelt. Our hero, the sexy ex-footballer Austin and the wonderful Quinn are a dream couple. They started out hot, moved on because an office romance is taboo and then when he needed her she came through. A surprise baby will melt your heart as Austin struggles to be a dad and Quinn comes to his rescue. The old sparks between the two are fanned as they worked together for the baby. What a family they make! This is a fantastic office romance and surprise baby storyline with so many emotions and a few laughs. Worth the read! 4.5 Stars This is book one in the Dare Nation series and it features Austin Prescott and Quinnlyn Stone. Austin came home one night to find a baby on his porch. Panicked, he called his very efficient, very sexy executive assistant for help. These two throw off some serious sparks whenever they’re together. Quinn is great with kids but doesn’t want any of her own. When all is said and done, what’s left for two people in love when one wants children and the other doesn’t? This is a fabulous series starter! The characters are well rounded and have steady growth throughout. All the Prescott siblings are Paul Dare’s biological children through sperm donation. They all know but still refer to him as Uncle Paul. I am definitely looking forward to the next book in this series!

Great Start to a Great Story

I read the synopsis and could NOT wait to read this book. Once I started I could not put this book down. Austin and Quinn’s story was captivating. It’s a bit of insta-love but set at a slow burn pace. It’s filled with all the delicious things one would want in a quick read. A great story with characters with off the chart chemistry. Austin is a former NFL star who owns a sports agency firm. He is looking for an Executive Assistant. In walks Quinnlynn aka Quinn. But although their attraction was instant, they decided to keep their relationship professional. Until a little someone appears in their lives. Austin comes home to find a baby on his door step. The only person he feels comfortable turning to for help is Quinn. With Austin out of his depth, he asks her to move in. This is where things heat up. Now in close quarters they not only learn that they make a great team for caring for a child but they also finally give into their attraction. I couldn’t get enough of them. This is the first book in the Dare Nation series. This book can be read as a stand-alone. I have not read all of Carly’s Dare series and was able to follow along and enjoy this story with no problem. She does a great job of giving a quick recap of the characters and their backgrounds. This a great start to what I know is a great series.

Although it is a spinoff, this side of the family, these a full standalone book. This is the 1st book in the new series. Austin is a former football pro turned sports agent. Quinn is his sexy but super efficient assistant. Although there is some serious chemistry, Austin and Quinn have kept their relationship strictly professional. When Austin comes home to find a baby on his doorstep he calls Quinn for help. Quinn agrees to help Austin with baby Jenny while making it clear it is only temporary as she has decided she doesn't want children. Soon they begin to feel too much like a family and their chemistry is too much to resist. This book is written from a third-person dual POV so the only drawback is that I found myself having to keep track of whose side I was reading. Austin and Quinn manage to have plenty of sizzle while allowing their sweet side to shine through.

Big alpha ex-football player Austin holding a tiny infant girl paints such an awesome and sexy picture. I love how he steps up to the task of taking care of the unexpected surprise of little Jenny. I also appreciate how Austin isn't afraid to ask for help, especially from his executive assistant Quinn. Their chemistry is apparent and can't be ignored unfortunately, Quinn has a firm belief in what her life should look like and it doesn't include children. This spin-off Dare series has a very promising beginning and I already pre-ordered the next book.

Dare To Resist by Carly Phillips is the first book in her brand new Dare Nation series. Moving Dare adjacent to the Prescott family, biologically the children of Paul Dare who donated sperm when the Prescott dad learned he couldn't father children, and Paul was happy to be the"uncle" to the kids and live his life with his partner. We open with the story of Austin Prescott and Quinnlyn Stone. Austin is in desperate need of an executive assistant and she is in desperate need of a job. Austin has a couple of weeks to get her ready to roll before he goes under the knife to donate one of his kidneys to his uncle (bio dad) Paul and will then be out of work for six weeks. Upon meeting Quinn for the first time it's obvious she has what it takes to keep his company in order while he is out, never mind the desperate attraction they feel towards one another. He needs a competent assistant more than he needs to scratch that itch and she needs job, the security and the income more than having a fling with her boss. But fast forward a year, add a baby on Austin's doorstep, a plea for help and some desperate measures and things really start to heat up between these two. There is just something about this entire Dare family and all the off-shoots that are irresistible. The romance is sweet, the sex is steamy, the angst levels are manageable but evoking and the happily ever afters are well-won. Loved it! I cannot wait for more of this family, the frequent glimpses into previous characters current lives, and the chemistry that just sparkles every time Carly Phillips puts pen to page. Enjoy!

4.5 stars for this fun yet emotional, sweet yet spicy story. I really enjoyed it! Carly Phillips brings us back into the the Dare/Prescott family for a wonderful story to start out her new Dare Nation series. Lovable characters and an easy flowing story line draw you in from the beginning and keep you invested and hopeful throughout. When Austin hires Quinn to be his assistant he ends up needing to suppress things he starts to feel for her very early on and he is successful at that. But he never expected how things would change in the course of a year. When he finds Jenny, a tiny little bundle of joy he finds on his doorstep, Quinn steps up to help him side by side. Suddenly all the feelings Austin has held back for the last year surface and he can’t deny them anymore. Looking forward to more of these awesome characters and this new series!

I liked that Austin and Quinn didn’t just jump into a personal relationship even though there was a lot of chemistry between them. It was understandable why Quinn was reluctant to have a relationship with Austin, especially adding a baby into the mix. I liked this story but I thought it could have been longer. The ending felt rushed, as well as unbelievable if you know anything about the police. I would read the other books in this series if they were longer and/or cost less.

A terrific start to a new series by this fabulous author. Always one to give us swoon-worthy characters and a story to cause a few heart problems. Melting, aching, breaking and most of all heartfelt. Our hero, the sexy ex-footballer Austin and the wonderful Quinn are a dream couple. They started out hot, moved on because an office romance is taboo and then when he needed her she came through. A surprise baby will melt your heart as Austin struggles to be a dad and Quinn comes to his rescue. The old sparks between the two are fanned as they worked together for the baby. What a family they make! This is a fantastic office romance and surprise baby storyline with so many emotions and a few laughs. Worth the read! 4.5 Stars This is book one in the Dare Nation series and it features Austin Prescott and Quinnlyn Stone. Austin came home one night to find a baby on his porch. Panicked, he called his very efficient, very sexy executive assistant for help. These two throw off some serious sparks whenever they’re together. Quinn is great with kids but doesn’t want any of her own. When all is said and done, what’s left for two people in love when one wants children and the other doesn’t? This is a fabulous series starter! The characters are well rounded and have steady growth throughout. All the Prescott siblings are Paul Dare’s biological children through sperm donation. They all know but still refer to him as Uncle Paul. I am definitely looking forward to the next book in this series!

Great Start to a Great Story

I read the synopsis and could NOT wait to read this book. Once I started I could not put this book down. Austin and Quinn’s story was captivating. It’s a bit of insta-love but set at a slow burn pace. It’s filled with all the delicious things one would want in a quick read. A great story with characters with off the chart chemistry. Austin is a former NFL star who owns a sports agency firm. He is looking for an Executive Assistant. In walks Quinnlynn aka Quinn. But although their attraction was instant, they decided to keep their relationship professional. Until a little someone appears in their lives. Austin comes home to find a baby on his door step. The only person he feels comfortable turning to for help is Quinn. With Austin out of his depth, he asks her to move in. This is where things heat up. Now in close quarters they not only learn that they make a great team for caring for a child but they also finally give into their attraction. I couldn’t get enough of them. This is the first book in the Dare Nation series. This book can be read as a stand-alone. I have not read all of Carly’s Dare series and was able to follow along and enjoy this story with no problem. She does a great job of giving a quick recap of the characters and their backgrounds. This a great start to what I know is a great series.

Although it is a spinoff, this side of the family, these a full standalone book. This is the 1st book in the new series. Austin is a former football pro turned sports agent. Quinn is his sexy but super efficient assistant. Although there is some serious chemistry, Austin and Quinn have kept their relationship strictly professional. When Austin comes home to find a baby on his doorstep he calls Quinn for help. Quinn agrees to help Austin with baby Jenny while making it clear it is only temporary as she has decided she doesn't want children. Soon they begin to feel too much like a family and their chemistry is too much to resist. This book is written from a third-person dual POV so the only drawback is that I found myself having to keep track of whose side I was reading. Austin and Quinn manage to have plenty of sizzle while allowing their sweet side to shine through.

Big alpha ex-football player Austin holding a tiny infant girl paints such an awesome and sexy picture. I love how he steps up to the task of taking care of the unexpected surprise of little Jenny. I also appreciate how Austin isn't afraid to ask for help, especially from his executive assistant Quinn. Their chemistry is apparent and can't be ignored unfortunately, Quinn has a firm belief in what her life should look like and it doesn't include children. This spin-off Dare series has a very promising beginning and I already pre-ordered the next book.

Dare To Resist by Carly Phillips is the first book in her brand new Dare Nation series. Moving Dare adjacent to the Prescott family, biologically the children of Paul Dare who donated sperm when the Prescott dad learned he couldn't father children, and Paul was happy to be the"uncle" to the kids and live his life with his partner. We open with the story of Austin Prescott and Quinnlyn Stone. Austin is in desperate need of an executive assistant and she is in desperate need of a job. Austin has a couple of weeks to get her ready to roll before he goes under the knife to donate one of his kidneys to his uncle (bio dad) Paul and will then be out of work for six weeks. Upon meeting Quinn for the first time it's obvious she has what it takes to keep his company in order while he is out, never mind the desperate attraction they feel towards one another. He needs a competent assistant more than he needs to scratch that itch and she needs job, the security and the income more than having a fling with her boss. But fast forward a year, add a baby on Austin's doorstep, a plea for help and some desperate measures and things really start to heat up between these two. There is just something about this entire Dare family and all the off-shoots that are irresistible. The romance is sweet, the sex is steamy, the angst levels are manageable but evoking and the happily ever afters are well-won. Loved it! 4.5 stars for this fun yet emotional, sweet yet spicy story. I really enjoyed it! Carly Phillips brings us back into the the Dare/Prescott family for a wonderful story to start out her new Dare Nation series. Lovable characters and an easy flowing story line draw you in from the beginning and keep you invested and hopeful throughout. When Austin hires Quinn to be his assistant he ends up needing to suppress things he starts to feel for her very early on and he is successful at that. But he never expected how things would change in the course of a year. When he finds Jenny, a tiny little bundle of joy he finds on his doorstep, Quinn steps up to help him side by side. Suddenly all the feelings Austin has held back for the last year surface and he can’t deny them anymore. Looking forward to more of these awesome characters and this new series!

Another winner!

Another winner from Ms Phillips. This was an easy read and, as always, well written. I liked that Austin and Quinn didn’t just jump into a personal relationship even though there was a lot of chemistry between them. It was understandable why Quinn was reluctant to have a relationship with Austin, especially adding a baby into the mix. The way that she had to take care of so many siblings and cousins would put off anyone to having children in the future. What she didn’t realize was that, as an adult, she would be the one making that decision not someone else. This was a great read to get your mind off of any depressing current events.

Could not resist

Loved this read, beginning of another great series and meeting some old friends. Some of my favorite books by Carly Phillips is the dare series and this is a off shoot of them. Nothing better than complicated family trees. Austin and Quinn are a great couple that you can’t help but root for and their chemistry is off the charts. What better than having a baby in the mix. I cannot wait for the next edition in this series an to keep up with this family and the dare family.

Pretty good. I’d read Ian’s Dare story in a different series and loved it. This one was good but I just couldn’t buy the fact the baby was left on Austin’s porch with a note. It just wasn’t believable.

I read the synopsis and could NOT wait to read this book. Once I started I could not put this book down. Austin and Quinn’s story was captivating. It’s a bit of insta-love but set at a slow burn pace. It’s filled with all the delicious things one would want in a quick read. A great story with characters with off the chart chemistry. Austin is a former NFL star who owns a sports agency firm. He is looking for an Executive Assistant. In walks Quinnlynn aka Quinn. But although their attraction was instant, they decided to keep their relationship professional. Until a little someone appears in their lives. Austin comes home to find a baby on his door step. The only person he feels comfortable turning to for help is Quinn. With Austin out of his depth, he asks her to move in. This is where things heat up. Now in close quarters they not only learn that they make a great team for caring for a child but they also finally give into their attraction. I couldn’t get enough of them. This is the first book in the Dare Nation series. This book can be read as a stand-alone. I have not read all of Carly’s Dare series and was able to follow along and enjoy this story with no problem. She does a great job of giving a quick recap of the characters and their backgrounds. This a great start to what I know is a great series.

The Dare family continues to grow. A new branch of Dare’s is reveled when Austin’s Uncle Philip needs a kidney, his secret is brought to light. Austin needs an assistant in place before he donates a kidney to his uncle, actually his biological father. Quinn is an excellent assistant, except that Austin wants her for more than an assistant. Quinn needs a job and working for Austin is a dream job, except for the naughty dreams she has about her boss. Everything goes well until a baby is left on Austin’s doorstep and he calls Quinn for help. One week of playing house and their feeling for each other can no longer be denied. I received an advanced copy and voluntarily left a review. Dare To Resist is a spinoff series of Carly Phillips’ Dare series. Although it is a spinoff, this side of the family, these a full standalone book. This is the 1st book in the new series. Austin is a former football pro turned sports agent. Quinn is his sexy but super efficient assistant. Although there is some serious chemistry, Austin and Quinn have kept their relationship strictly professional. When Austin comes home to find a baby on his doorstep he calls Quinn for help. Quinn agrees to help Austin with baby Jenny while making it clear it is only temporary as she has decided she doesn't want children. Soon they begin to feel too much like a family and their chemistry is too much to resist. This book is written from a third-person dual POV so the only drawback is that I found myself having to keep track of whose side I was reading. Austin and Quinn manage to have plenty of sizzle while allowing their sweet side to shine through.

Everything she didn’t realize she wanted

Big alpha ex-football player Austin holding a tiny infant girl paints such an awesome and sexy picture. I love how he steps up to the task of taking care of the unexpected surprise of little Jenny. I also appreciate how Austin isn't afraid to ask for help, especially from his executive assistant Quinn. Their chemistry is apparent and can't be ignored unfortunately, Quinn has a firm belief in what her life should look like and it doesn't include children. This spin-off Dare series has a very promising beginning and I already pre-ordered the next book.

Review: Dare Nation 1: Dare To Resist

Dare To Resist by Carly Phillips is the first book in her brand new Dare Nation series. Moving Dare adjacent to the Prescott family, biologically the children of Paul Dare who donated sperm when the Prescott dad learned he couldn't father children, and Paul was happy to be the"uncle" to the kids and live his life with his partner. We open with the story of Austin Prescott and Quinnlyn Stone. Austin is in desperate need of an executive assistant and she is in desperate need of a job. Austin has a couple of weeks to get her ready to roll before he goes under the knife to donate one of his kidneys to his uncle (bio dad) Paul and will then be out of work for six weeks. Upon meeting Quinn for the first time it's obvious she has what it takes to keep his company in order while he is out, never mind the desperate attraction they feel towards one another. He needs a competent assistant more than he needs to scratch that itch and she needs job, the security and the income more than having a fling with her boss. But fast forward a year, add a baby on Austin's doorstep, a plea for help and some desperate measures and things really start to heat up between these two. There is just something about this entire Dare family and all the off-shoots that are irresistible. The romance is sweet, the sex is steamy, the angst levels are manageable but evoking and the happily ever afters are well-won. Loved it! I cannot wait for more of this family, the frequent glimpses into previous characters current lives, and the chemistry that just sparkles every time Carly Phillips puts pen to page. Enjoy!

Sweet & Spicy

4.5 stars for this fun yet emotional, sweet yet spicy story. I really enjoyed it! Carly Phillips brings us back into the the Dare/Prescott family for a wonderful story to start out her new Dare Nation series. Lovable characters and an easy flowing story line draw you in from the beginning and keep you invested and hopeful throughout. When Austin hires Quinn to be his assistant he ends up needing to suppress things he starts to feel for her very early on and he is successful at that. But he never expected how things would change in the course of a year. When he finds Jenny, a tiny little bundle of joy he finds on his doorstep, Quinn steps up to help him side by side. Suddenly all the feelings Austin has held back for the last year surface and he can’t deny them anymore. Looking forward to more of these awesome characters and this new series!

Another winner!

Another winner from Ms Phillips. This was an easy read and, as always, well written. I liked that Austin and Quinn didn’t just jump into a personal relationship even though there was a lot of chemistry between them. It was understandable why Quinn was reluctant to have a relationship with Austin, especially adding a baby into the mix. The way that she had to take care of so many siblings and cousins would put off anyone to having children in the future. What she didn’t realize was that, as an adult, she would be the one making that decision not someone else. This was a great read to get your mind off of any depressing current events.

Welcome back, Dares!!!! This is a new nation of Dare’s, Carly Phillips incredible family from the earlier series. And I am so happy to have more Dare’s in the picture. This begins the stories of the Prescott’s, who are Dare’s from another Dad! (you’ll figure it out). First, we meet Austin. Urgently needing an executive assistant due to a medical crisis, he hires Quinn Stone. As much chemistry as they have at the initial meeting, he doesn’t date employees, so they will be friends only. Quinn has finally gotten a life for herself. She basically raised her siblings and cousins and managed to get an education. Now she wants to live the life she deserves. She won’t endanger it just because the new boss is hot. But one little blue-eyed sweetie is going to change everything for both of them. Loads of family information, lots of steam, and as always, another family I know I’m going to love. Thanks, Carly….

Could not resist

Loved this read, beginning of another great series and meeting some old friends. Some of my favorite books by Carly Phillips is the dare series and this is a off shoot of them. Nothing better than complicated family trees. Austin and Quinn are a great couple that you can’t help but root for and their chemistry is off the charts. What better than having a baby in the mix. I cannot wait for the next edition in this series an to keep up with this family and the dare family.
